PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION RULES

The criteria used by the judges in marking this competition is as follows:

Criteria # of marks

1. Subject representation: 15
   
2. Speech delivery: 15
   
3. Self Confidence: 10
   
4. Eye contact with audience: 5
   
5. Respecting the given time limit: 5

Time limits for:

• Secondary Level 2: 5 min.
• Secondary Level 1: 4 min.
• Elementary Level : 3 min.
  

Note: The above criteria may be changed as per the decision taken by the board members.
